Rigid column, high accuracy, fully programmable deep marking pneumatic dot peen machine.
- Powerful pneumatic pin assembly achieves the deepest mark in the range: up to 1.5 mm deep on mild steel, 2mm deep on aluminium.
- Rigid column and robust ball screw mechanism guarantees dot precision required for the most demanding industrial part identification applications
- Large marking envelope (up to 300×150 mm) available
- Powered Z digital axis (Option: Z model) allowing automatic adjustment for different part heights.
- Power requirements – 100 – 220v single phase supply.
- Ideally suited to marking engine blocks or large castings this machine can mark up to a depth of 1.25mm in mild steel and 2mm in Aluminium.

The Marktronic 3000 ‘C’ (Column mounted) ‘D’ (Deep Marking) series machines have been designed to offer the flexibility and benefits of dot marking technology in a robust, simple to use package.
The build quality and mark precision are second to none. The machines rigid construction and high quality ball screw mechanism ensures it can deal with the most demanding DataMatrix applications as well as the most challenging continuous production applications.
The 3000 C150-150D consists of three building blocks, marking head, base & column and the controller.
The Marking Head is available with 4 different marking area (see technical specifications) up to 300 x 150 mm size. The head has a precision X and Y axis which positions the marking stylus over the component to be marked. Each dot is applied by pneumatically driving, at high force, the stylus into the component. This produces a very deep mark. The ‘D’ series machines are ideally suited to marking large components where deeply marked inscriptions larger than 5mm are required.
The Base and Column facilitate the manual z-axis adjustment to allow for components of differing heights. Riser blocks are also available for marking very tall parts. The ‘Z’ models feature a powered digital Z axis. The machine can move to a pre-programmed Z position for different parts to be marked. After marking, the machine moves back allowing a better clearance for the operator. Z models are highly recommended for marking component batches with changing height.
The 3000 Controller is a separate unit to ensure it is protected from the mechanical shock loading of the marking operation. The easy to use software allows for 5 font types and up to 1350 layouts to be stored. Available in a variety of languages (including English, French, German, Spanish, Swedish, Finnish, Italian, Portuguese, Cyrillic and Czech), the software also contains features such as serial numbering, date and time marking and password protection.
The machine comes with a comprehensive parts and labour warranty, with additional optional maintenance contracts tailored to individual customer requirements.
